You want wood that doesn’t splinter easily, and a finish that lasts a long time. You can also have built in benches and built in tables as your dining area. And let’s not forget the Jacuzzi.

Although, most people have wooden board decks, you can also choose from aluminum, vinyl, metal or glass. And of course, don’t forget the awnings. Awnings are a wonderful accessory. The ones that roll up are a luxury. Consider plant boxes and hanging flower pots for décor. For your evening entertaining, you may choose simple lighting or more elaborate lighting with dimmer switches or recessed lighting. There are all sorts of things that can be done to make your deck a truly memorable and unique place.
