Bathroom Lighting

Bathroom lighting is a key ingredient of bathroom design and functionality.

The way a bathroom is lit enhances every aspect of the room including the style of toilet, sink and tub. The colors chosen as decor will accentuate the walls with the correct lighting. Towels and toilet covers, rugs and other bathroom accessories will stand out yet still blend in with the theme and color scheme with proper bathroom lighting.

Choosing bathroom lighting draws a fine line between practicality and creativity. The lighting needs to be strong enough for a person to carry out daily grooming chores like shaving, washing, applying make-up, brushing teeth, etc., but subtle enough in order not to blow every other aspect of the room away.

The alternative to walking this fine line is to use bathroom lighting to function in two ways by installing two separate lighting units. One would be more functional to serve as additional lighting for when you need that extra 'pop' when you're getting ready for work in the morning or freshing up when you're going out in the evening.

The other would serve to set the mood lending a warm glow that will draw the attention of anyone's eye who knows what taste and bathroom lighting is all about.
